Sholing Valleys Spring Fayre

We will be holding our annual Spring Fayre on Saturday, 18th May at the Miller’s Pond Local Nature Reserve in Station Road, Sholing. There will be a plant sale, games, bouncy castle, barbecue and many stalls such as the Hampshire Bat Group, Eastleigh Mens Shed and Woodturners, YMCA, Hants & IOW Wildlife Trust, RSPB and many, many more. The ever popular Falcon High will be flying their birds of prey. Monty’s Bikes will be fixing bikes for a donation, so bring along your bike for a check or repair. One of the star attractions at last year’s Fayre was the steam engine and Garrett will again be in attendance.

For well over 12 years the Study Centre has been planning a new toilet building including a fully equipped disabled facility. Apart from some cosmetic decorating, this is all but finished and we have had to work extremely hard over the past 12 years holding our Fayres and visiting outside events in order to raise enough money for this to happen. Events such as the Spring Fayre are very important in raising funds to keep the Centre running. So please come along and support us. 2018 was our best ever Fayre even though it coincided with the Royal Wedding so let’s hope 2019 can be even better.
