Bursledon Parish Council returns to Lowford Community Centre

Council Leader Keith House said, ”In May, The Council was disappointed that Bursledon and District Community Association evicted Bursledon Parish Council from their offices within Lowford Community Centre and along with it, the Hampshire County Council library that was run by volunteers.“

He added, “The Council is pleased to see that, following mediation, Bursledon Parish Council have now returned to the Lowford Community Centre and there will be no changes to the terms of their sub lease. The Borough Council has always supported the Parish's right to return and we now look forward to the Parish Council also re-instating the Library service under their management and continuing to provide these popular services for the local community.”
