Hampshire Open Studios


Hampshire's artsits are opening their doors to the public with displays of their work. It's free to visit the studios, you can usually purchase art and there may even be cake!

Local artists include the following:

GREYLADYES ART FOUNDATION (GAF)

Works by: Sally Nixon, Nicola James, Glyn Foulkes, Colin Bowler, Stephen Foulkes, Ray Manley, Kirstin White, Jacqueline Rolls. Wheelchair accessible. Public car parks within easy walking distance. Open 1-5pm; plus late opening 23rd till 8pm. The GAF Centre, School Road, Old Bursledon.

MARY NOTTINGHAM

Using the colour and texture of glass I produce handcrafted mosaic mirrors, table tops, and pictures as well was warm glass pictures, panel, bowls and jewellery. Wheelchair accessible. Street parking, car park nearby. Open 10am-5pm; closed 19th-22nd. 15 Station Road, Netley Abbey.

ARTISTS IN NETLEY ABBEY & NEARBY

St Edward’s Parish Church offers a unique setting for individual artists exhibiting together – Tina Adams, Anna Atkinson, Cy Baker, Nick Buxton, Mitch Carroll, Sarah & Rory Church, CStar Design, Jenny Goodhand, Claire Mason, Neil Parrish, Jez Payne, Emily Quick, Pip Sanday, Megan Smith, Sandra Williams & young artists. Refreshments available. Wheelchair accessible, gravel path, toilets in church hall. Church grounds and street parking. Open 11-6pm except 17th 4-8pm & 1-5pm on Sundays. St Edward's Church, Grange Road, Netley Abbey.

RON & TRISH MOODY

Ron: A large selection of new watercolour and acrylic paintings in his quirky colourful style plus unframed originals, prints and cards. Trish: Handmade bags and textiles. Wheelchair accessible. Street parking & driveway. Open 11am-5pm. 40 Grange Road, Netley Abbey.

PAINTERS ON THE GREEN WITH SUE RUBIRA

An inspirational group of over 40 artists showing a diverse range of work in watercolours, oils, mixed media and felt. A wide choice of framed and unframed paintings, gifts, cards and refreshments. Disabled access & facilities. Ample parking with two car parks. Open 10am-5pm except BH Monday 10am-1pm. Sarisbury Green Community Centre, The Green, Sarisbury Green.

BRYAN DUNLEAVY

Bryan Dunleavy's paintings draw from a wide range of subject matter. Work will be on display in the studio, and exhibition marquee and in the house. Wheelchair accessible to the outside exhibition, Stairs to the house. Park on driveway or forecourt. Open 10am-5pm. 231 Swanwick Lane, Southampton.
