A summer programme giving 8-16 year olds a chance to try out a range of sports and activities. Park Sport 2019, organised by the Council’s SportWorks team, takes place at 15 venues across the Borough. The programme offers sports at just £1 booking fee per child per session, includes sailing, dance, fishing, squash and more. Park Sport 2019 is sponsored by Hillcrest Structural Ltd and BP Oil Ltd.
Two new one-day festivals, offering activities for all the family, will take place at Places Leisure Eastleigh on 3 August and Hamble Sports Complex on Saturday 17 August (costing £1 pp per session). The festivals include trampolining, pan-disability football, freestyle gymnastics, teen gym, plus sessions for families and parents. Also on offer are free Skate Jam events run by Team Extreme, and free swimming for u16's at Places Leisure Eastleigh, Wildern Leisure Centre and Hamble Sports Complex.
Bookings will go live from 8 July at 10am each day. Residents making bookings must have a My Eastleigh account with the Council, which can be set up in advance, in order to complete a booking. To find out more and book, visit www.eastleigh.gov.uk/parksport
