The Big Bursfest

Saturday 24 February 2018. 12.30pm to 11pm in Bursledon Village Hall

Bursledon Music Festival 2018 will see headline acts Folklaw, The Beau Bow Bells and Soloist Megan O’Neil. This year our Charity of choice is Naomi House, Children’s Hospice.

The Big Bursfest Music Festival is in aid of the Village hall. The 100 year old hall was saved from demolition, rebuilt and re-opened by the people of Bursledon in 2000 It now runs as a charitable trust supporting many local groups and activities. It's a traditional but very up to date venue. Our nominated charity for 2018 is Naomi House. They will receive half of the proceeds. Please remember that all of our performers donate their time for free .We only take out what we need in expences i.e. printing and publicity.

We are pleased to welcome The Linden Tree onboard as bar managers for this years Big Bursfest. They will be providing a good choice of real ale on the day as well as hosting The Newporters Session Band on the evening of the 23 February in aid of Naomi House. We are also pleased to be able to say that our caterers will be providing a varied choice of food throughout the day.

Come along to the Big Bursfest and chase away the winter blues with fab music, real ale and home-cooked food. See Facebook page - friends of the Big Bursfest.
