1 December - Prior to light up you can make or buy lanterns and join in a community lantern parade. Leaving from the grass area on Priory Road (opposite St Edwards Road) at 4.40pm to the grounds of St Edwards Church, Grange Road for the lighting of the village Christmas tree and carols.
Everyone is very welcome to these community events, however, we ask that all children are accompanied by a responsible adult. Please use only glow-sticks or battery candles and don’t bring pets along for safety reasons. Feel free to come in Christmas attire and bring a small torch if you have one. There will be food and drinks available for purchase during and after the event.
