On 25th March 2017, 7.30pm at St Paul's Church, Bursledon the New Music Makers choir and other musicians will be joining together in memory of Netley resident, Jeanne Hudson.
Local musician and fundraiser Emily Quick is organising the event and said: "Just before Christmas we had the unfortunate experience of losing my Nan. I wanted to create something positive from our loss so I decided it was time to do something to raise money for the older members of our community. I have arranged a concert with a thirty plus Music Makers choir on the 25th March and I'm also running the London Marathon in April. I'm aiming to raise in excess of £2,000 for Age UK which will be used to develop vital services for local older residents. So please come to the concert and enjoy the music whilst doing good for some older people."
