St Mary's Church in Hound will be opening its doors as the Friends of St Mary host Carols by Candlelight. This is such a popular event that this year Carols by Candlelight will be held on two nights again, to try to accommodate as many people as possible. The Friends emphasise that although, as always, there will be no charge, you WILL REQUIRE A FREE TICKET if you wish to attend.
St Mary’s welcomes all to a festive evening of carols and stories on 11 & 12 December. The doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start and complimentary refreshments are served. The Friends of St Mary, Hound are always pleased to accept any donations, which are used directly to fund the ongoing restoration of this important and very beautiful little church. This is a candlelit service and lighting is reduced once carollers are seated (you may wish to bring a small torch for reading!)

Free tickets are available from June Bangs (023 8045 2252) and Hound Parish Office from 3 December, and are given out on a first come basis.
